Meals
Three Vegetarian Meals are served daily. Guests may notify the center in advance if there are any special dietary needs. We use the best ingredients available and include seasonal vegetables from our organic garden.
Sleeping Accomodations
There are a total of 220 beds at Ananda Kanan, in a variety of facilities:
Singles dorm. Rooms have 4-8 bunkbeds. The first floor is for men and the second floor for women. Each has their own separate shower and bathroom. For smaller groups rooms may be single occupancy.
Family Dorm. Rooms of various sizes, with 3-6 bunkbeds in each. Separate men's and women's shower/bathroom. For smaller groups rooms may be single occupancy.
3 Cabins. Each cabin sleeps 12 in bunkbeds Shower/bath/dressing room in each cabin.
All beds are with mattress only. Guest must provide their own bedding.
Other
Pets, firearms, alchohol and non-prescription drugs are not permitted at Ananda Kanan. Smoking must be outside buildings and not in fields or woods, due to fire hazard.
There is wireless internet connection.
Some aquatic equipment is available for use on the pond. There is a pier providing access to the water for swimming. Groups must provide their own supervision as there is no lifeguard on duty.
Some sports equipment, such as volleyball and basketball, may be borrowed from the center for use at the sports field.
